Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Easter Seals Western PA Linda Lanham Zeszutek School Program is an approved private school for children with disabilities (ages 3-8).  We have 4 school sites located throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.

Our SLP’s are responsible for providing speech services which includes, but is not limited to, identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication and therapeutic feeding needs of children attending our program.  We are currently looking to hire both a full-time SLP and a part-time SLP.

Full-Time Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a SLP to work 3 days per week at our school located in Whitehall and 2 days per week at our school located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh.  Total hours per week are 30.   

The Easter Seals program follows the typical school calendar in that we operate from late August–early June.  The work hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  During the month of July, we offer an Extended School Year program; it is your choice to work or just enjoy your summer off work. 

This full-time position offers a very attractive and comprehensive benefit package—even though you are working only 30 hours per week you are considered full-time.  Another benefit is that there is no weekend, evening, or holiday work involved with this position.

Part-Time Opportunity
The part-time opportunity is located at our school site located in Export, PA.  We are looking to hire an SLP to work 12 hours per week with flexibility as to the days/hours scheduled.  We are open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Qualifications

• Masters Degree or Masters Equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology required. 
• PA License in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• PA Professional Teacher Certification in Speech and Language Impaired (or equivalent) required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the ASHA preferred. 
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, & FBI Clearance required.
• Passing of physical examination, TB, and drug screen required.
