Thank you to the nearly 400 individuals who came out to support last year's Walk at the Pittsburgh Zoo.
You helped to raise over $36,000 for Easter Seals Western Pennsylvania programs and services!!!

We are excited to announce that our 2010 Walk will be a one-mile Walk/Wheel through Pittsburgh's famed amusement park, Kennywood. Easter Seals friends and family will be able to enjoy a post Walk celebration picnic where they will enjoy light food and refreshments, music, children's activities and more!

This year, we are offering our Easter Seals friends and family an opportunity to take advantage of an 'Early Bird' Special for Walk With Me 2010. If you register online before Friday, February 12th, then you will recieve $5 off admission!! So, visit our Walk Web site, www.walkwithme.org/pittsburgh, starting December 1st to register.

Purpose of Event: Walk With Me is an event that gives participants a unique experience as they walk or wheel and interact with Easter Seals clients along a route that encompasses the best sights and sounds of Kennywood Park. Cheering them on and/or joining them will be Honorary Ambassadors, adults and children who directly benefit from Easter Seals Western Pennsylvania’s programs and services. Participants in Walk With Me get to be partnered with an Honorary Ambassador and will get to meet them the day of the event.

• Monies raised from this event are applied directly to Easter Seals Western Pennsylvania’s programs/services that benefit nearly 19,500 children and adults with disabilities and other special needs and their families in 20 counties in western Pennsylvania.
   
• $.98 out of each dollar raised locally by Easter Seals remains in western Pennsylvania.

• For more than 24 years, Easter Seals has been ranked #1 by the National Health Council in recognition of the percent of dollars we use to directly serve children and adults.
